Please meet a very sweet little mohair bear called Obsidian.
Who is patiently awaiting adoption : )
This little bear is number 3265 in the Bears of Bath Series and comes with a signed and numbered Bears of Bath certificate.
He is approx 7-8 inches in height and made from lovely Helmbold black thick mohair. Obsidian has been created from a brand new design. He is fully cotterpin jointed with English 8mm Black Glass Eyes. He is filled with dense stuffing for extra weight. This little bear has a black fabric nose : )
He has an embroidered fabric Bears of Bath 2023 label sewn into his back.
Bruno’s inner ears are made from black mohair and his feet from fabric, which have been aged using airbrushed raw ochre acrylic paint.
This little bear is entirely hand sewn and from a pet and smoke free home and only the best quality materials have been used in making this little bear.
Bears of Bath is a member of the Guild of Master Bear Crafters
& a finalist of the British Bear Artist Awards 2007 and 2010. Bears of Bath has also appeared in Teddy Bear Times and this edition of the Teddy Bear Annual..
Bears of Bath has just won 1st prize in the Miniature Undressed Section of the British Bear Artists Award 2011
